At Tourer Techs Caravan Services, giving back is part of who we are. As a family-run, independent business rooted in Somerset, we believe strongly in supporting our local community and raising funds for causes that make a real difference to families and children.
Each year, we proudly organise large-scale charity events that bring together customers, friends, local businesses, and the wider caravan and motorhome community – all while raising vital funds for charity.
Two of our flagship events are Summer Sizzler and Christmas Cracker.
🌞 Summer Sizzler
Summer Sizzler is more than just an evening of entertainment — it’s a celebration of community, family, and coming together for a great cause. Hosted at our Tourer Techs service centre, the event transforms our everyday workspace into a vibrant summer venue filled with music, laughter, and feel-good fundraising.
Designed to be welcoming and relaxed, Summer Sizzler brings together customers, friends, local families, and businesses for a night where everyone can unwind, enjoy great food, and soak up the atmosphere. From live music and dancing to children’s character appearances and casual socialising, there’s something for every age.
What makes Summer Sizzler truly special is the sense of togetherness. Whether you’re a long-standing customer, a local family popping in for the evening, or someone discovering Tourer Techs for the first time, the event offers a chance to connect, support a children’s charity close to our hearts, and create lasting summer memories — all while raising vital funds for The Grand Appeal.

Summer Sizzler has grown year on year, becoming a firm favourite in our local calendar and a brilliant example of what can be achieved when a community comes together for good.
🎄 Christmas Cracker
Christmas Cracker is our much-loved festive charity event, bringing together families, customers, and the wider community for an evening full of Christmas cheer — all while raising vital funds for The Grand Appeal. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and unapologetically festive, making it a highlight of our charity calendar.
A standout feature of the event is the incredible Christmas Dubs. Their beautifully lit VW vehicles of every size, shape, and colour create a magical display as they cruise through local towns and villages, delighting VW fans and festive light lovers alike. Their 2025 season alone raised an astonishing £62,000, making a real difference to children and families.
Families are at the heart of Christmas Cracker, festive music, a popular hot chocolate station, and special appearances from Bluey, Bingo, and Muffin — perfect for hugs, photos, and unforgettable festive moments.
Fundraising fun runs throughout the evening with games such as Name the Reindeer, Guess the Sweeties in the Jar, and the ever-popular sweetie cones, ensuring everyone can join in while helping support a children’s charity close to our hearts.

We’re excited to announce that Tourer Techs Summer Sizzler 2026 is back – and it’s set to be another unforgettable evening of live music, great food, and community spirit, all in support of The Grand Appeal ❤️

- Time: 5:00pm – 11:00pm
- Location: Tourer Techs Caravan Services – Service Centre
🎟️ Tickets
- £10 per adult
(Includes either a hog roast roll or a portion of loaded fries) - Children aged 13 and under go free – no ticket required
🎫 Tickets can be purchased:
- In person at our service centre office, or

👉 All proceeds go directly to The Grand Appeal.

- Either Hog roast & loaded fries included with adult tickets
